This photographic series by Carlos Latapi explores the hybrid identity of Mexico, where tradition and modernity coexist. Through the use of light, fashion, and cultural symbols, Latapi creates portraits that highlight the richness of a nation in constant transformation.
The project was exhibited at Fundación Sebastian [2006], and reflects over three decades of Latapi’s trajectory portraying celebrities, fashion, and social life.
